Wine Tasting in the wine cellars of Okhuysen. Really enjoyable evening with 18 people amongst wines as old as from 1937, and es expensive as EUR 1.500 ! The Grote Markt and Cuban bar afterwards weren't bad either ;-)

Haarlem Jazz night. Some Latin jazz on the Grote Markt, drinks afterwards outside of the cafes, and some nice summer weather made this evening quite enjoyable.

Thanks Sarit, for organizing a wonderful evening: a great boat trip with drinks through the Amsterdam canals, after which we moved on to Werck on the Prinsengracht (great place).

The International Food Tasting at Giorgio's was a great success! Around twenty of us brought their native food, drinks and accompanying stories along, which lead to a real feast! Thank you Giorgio for your hospitality!

Six of us had a nice dinner at restaurant Novecento, after which the group got bigger at XO for a round of Happy New Year drinks.

Wednesday 26 November
In a cafe filled with Ajax-Milan watchers, we enjoyed some drinks, probably the last of this year with the Christmas season coming up. One of our members is organising a MyHaarlem Anniversary event in January.

Thursday 6 November
The Filmschuur has a very stylish bar, as we found out. Followed it up with a movie at Brinkmann.

Wednesday 29 October
Irish drinks; managed to make it a long night for the bartenders, with a decent crowd for them to serve!

Saturday 18 October
Ten Italian wines and a very friendly viticulturist couple made this wine tasting to a great success!

Thursday 16 October
Eight of us had a great (Down Under Social) evening at XO where we said good-bye to our Aussie. Speaking of which: Saturday rugby Australia - England for those interested.

Cuban drinks night at Fidels. Great mixes and cigars in comfy couches and chairs.

The bowling on Bison's last two lanes proved to be of extremely high standards. So was the unlimited grill & salad bar. Fun!

The girls beat the guys tonight, but we can't say either team was hugely succesful. Fun though.

Studio formed the scenary for our get-together this time, with yet another new member joining us for a good time.

O'Briens was the place for this week's drinks, the jazz would have to wait until another evening. To celebrate his birthday, Robert treated us to most of the drinks. Thanks!

We've become squash regulars. Looks like it's time to claim fixed courts, maybe we can work out a deal

Last 30 degree day in Holland for a while, but not quite hot enough to stop us from some fanatic squash games. We'll make this a more regular event!

Temperatures above 30 degrees left us no choice: we had to hit the beach, Bloomingdale's mattrasses and pillows to be exact. Summary: hot sun, hot bodies, and hot drinks

Tuesday 5 August
Squash night. More than 30 degrees outside, and we ended up matching that temperature inside on the courts. After cooling down, we decided we should enjoy more of the sunshine on the beach..fast

Thursday 31 July
Poolnight...or at least that was how it started. After a couple of games, we moved on to visit both the Botermarkt and the Grote Markt. Turned out to be a fun evening (isn't it always?)

Friday 25 July
A great 'rain on the beach' evening. Woodstock69 eventually became Bloomingdale, which proved to be a good move: lying down looking good and jumping around on the dance floor looking better!

Wine Tasting at Wijn & Spijs was very nice. We even tried to put across our just acquired knowledge to the bartenders on the Grote Markt (whether it worked is another issue). Loads of new enthousiastic members and a new evening together will follow soon; keep watching the site and your emails.
